Our "go big or go home" culture has left many people feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and gloomy, when all it takes is a lil’ action to turn things around.
Want to try out a new daily habit? I've got a few suggestions.
Here's one:
Grab a notebook first thing in the morning and brain dump onto the blank page with whatever crosses your mind. This is an opportunity to flush out repetitive thoughts and make space for fresh thinking.
Morning Pages are a practice I picked up from “The Artist’s Way,” by Julia Cameron. In her book she suggests using the first minutes of your morning to fill three pages with stream of consciousness writing.

Morning Pages are good for anyone who wants to reduce their stress and tap into their creative mind. Although filling three pages is the formal practice, you can make it lil’ by setting a 5-minute timer and never lifting your pen from the page.
